Mihaven’s Specialist Disability Accommodation highlighted in the Paul Ramsey Foundation’s 5 Year Review

MiHaven has won the prestigious Specialised Housing of the Year Award for its first-ever SDA home at Lily Street, Cairns.

MiHaven Care has launched its latest Specialist Disability Accommodation project at 36 & 36A James Street Manunda. The home at number 36 is already fully committed with the second home taking expressions of interest now.

MiHaven celebrates an incredible 10 years of business in Far Northern Australia. Through cyclones to floods and of course COVID, MiHaven has continued to go from strength to strength in the past decade.

International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations observed day celebrated internationally. It aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate their achievements and contributions.

From slab to roof - so much progress is being made on our Severin Street project despite some weather that might otherwise hold the project up. We will be moving inside very shortly. Make sure you register your interest in a MiHaven Care SDA home if you or someone you care for is eligible.

MiHaven Care has opened its first purpose-built SDA home that substantially raises the quality and fit-for-purpose nature of housing for the sector. Eligible NDIS participants will be able to reside in a MiHaven Care built and managed property that will dramatically improve the standard of living for those residents.

Our parent company MiHaven has taken out two awards at the Master Builders Far North Queensland Housing & Construction Awards. Awarded at a live-streamed event held on Friday, 21 August, more than 35 builders, projects, and individuals were recognised in this year’s awards with MiHaven proudly taking out two categories.
